About us

Epilekton fine honey of high nutritional value.

Honey collected according to traditional beekeeping techniques from the rich Greek nature. The nectar of the gods from the hive in the jar!

Epilekton Beekeeping is a family business that has been in the area since 1970. Grandpa’s love for bees and honey is what impelled the 2 grandchildren George and Nikos to engage in beekeeping first as amateurs and then through their studies, with specialized knowledge and sufficient tools, so that they can now engage professionally.

Following the traditional practice of nomadic beekeeping with proper techniques that respect the environment and the bee itself, we get from the Greek nature the honey and other beekeeping products.

Epilekton because from early spring our bees start travelling to the most selected parts of Greece, places rich in vegetation and biodiversity. The first stop is the Orange honey from the orange groves of the Prefectures of Etoloakarnania & Arta. Thyme from Galaxidi. Fir from the mountains of Evritania & mountainous Nafpaktia. Pine from Evia & Thassos.
Forest honey from the mountains of Centaurs (Pelion). Heather and arbutus from Valtos in Etoloakarnania.
In our collection you will also find Pollen, Fresh Royal Jelly & Propolis Tincture.

The symbol of the eternal cycle of life with the freedom of the bee flight in coordination, harmony and endlessness, to the “horizons” that are best visible from above, and finally to the familiar, earthly flight of the bee around us, as if we have returned to our natural position as humans.
